Mission Statement

Foundation's Mission Statement: To mobilize our community to support Law Enforcement in the City of Macon and Bibb County.

Goals:

Create partnerships that provide resources to fund equipment, technology, training, youth programs, and community outreach not supported by the City and County budget.
Be a major source of private financial support for Macon Police, Bibb County Sheriff's Office, and Macon-Bibb County Fire Department.

Recognizing the need to support Public Safety in Bibb County, a group of concerned businesses and community leaders joined together in 2010 to create the Macon-Bibb Law Enforcement Foundation. MBLEF was established to provide vital support for our Police, Sheriff, and Fire Departments. The organization is based on a public-private partnership model that has proven to be highly effective in the prevention and reduction of crime in other cities.

Since our inception, MBLEF has completed the construction of "Public Safety Memorial Park" located on Mulberry Street in downtown Macon.
